At Pink Sisters, Tagaytay

Image
The Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters are a Roman Catholic religious order of cloistered nuns . The nuns live a contemplative life, focused on perpetual adoration of the Blessed Sacrament , offering intercessory prayers for the world. Inside the cloister the nuns wear rose -colored habits in honor of the Holy Spirit . It is from these habits that they are nicknamed the "Pink Sisters." The congregation was founded in 1896 in Holland by Saint Arnold Janssen , a German diocesean priest. The first house was established in the United States in 1915 by Mother Mary Michaele in Pennsylvania , upon the invitation of Archbishop Edmund Francis Pendergast. Currently, there are 20 Houses located in Argentina , Brazil , Germany , India , Indonesia , the Netherlands , the Philippines , Poland , Togo , and the United States. This was taken in Tagaytay where you can find the Pink Sisters.

Puerto Galera

Image
The Spaniards early navigator discovered this small Island and found a safety anchorage for their galleons. During the course of time, this small island was made into a port and called as PORT OF GALLEON and later became PUERTO GALERA. On April 10 at 1 p.m. together with my co-employees, we leave the town of Cabuyao to have our family outing at the famous Puerto Galera. At 2:30 p.m. we arrived at Port of Batangas and wait for our boat that will bring us to White Beach Resort. After 1 hour at the sea we reached Puerto Galera...In my group I am the only one who have been in Puerto Galera...all are first timer and I can see in their eyes their excitement. We looked to our room which were reserved by CJ, actually, we rented 2 rooms: one for the ladies and the other for the boys. Maddy and Liza took care of the cooking while the others helped in preparing our foods. The boys helped in making bar-b-Q and grilled Tilapia. In addition we have Adobo, Bicol Express, Laing, Fried Eggplant, Indi

Places...places...places!!! Each and every one of us have a desire to go somewhere else that will make us happy...some do this to re-invigorate himself...to think...to meditate...to have some peace of mind...to visit old friends...to visit relatives. Some go there in their own...some with their friends and most especially with their family. I, being a Pisces is a nature lover, I want to explore and do some adventures. But sometimes the kind of job I have make it impossible to do what I want. So If I have enough time or if I can cope it I rather go to savour the new air I can inhale. Well, it is obvious that as of now I can't boast that I've been to another country. What I plan, as my budget can't make it is to first, see all the beautiful place here in the Philippines. I've been to Pagsanjan Falls, Lagos del Sol at Caliraya Lake, Abra, my wife hometown wherein I saw how they celebrate their fiesta and Semana Santa, some beaches in Ilocos Sur, at Vigan, I've already

Climbing Mount Makiling

Image
Mount Makiling is located in the province of Laguna, it is an inactive volcano which rises to 1,090 m above the sea level. Legend surrounds the mountain the folkloric stories of Maria Makiling. It was during semana santa when me and my friends decided to climb the mountain. All of us do not have a proper education in mountain climbing but through sheer and guts and with the help of a guide we made it to the Mud Spring…and Peak 2. Two of my colleague didn’t reach the peak and I thought my wife and daughter could not make it too but alas! They’ve made it. After the climb we told to our self that we will do it again…but it never happened. To all guys up there who like some adventure why don’t you try it?
